This year’s parade will begin at the entrance to Rockport Harbor and proceed into and around the channels of the harbor.
Awards include a free bottom cleaning awarded by our sponsor to the best decorated power boat and best decorated sailboat (restricted to a normal level of cleaning: for questions contact Houston Yarberry at 940-867-7512). Winners also receive a $50 bar coupon.
Please complete the registration on our website as soon as possible, no later than the Skipper’s meeting. Participation is FREE.
There will be a will Skipper’s meeting on Saturday, December 16 at 9:00am at the RYC Clubhouse. To compete in the parade, you must be registered and attend the Skipper meeting to receive your number for display on your boat (for the purpose of judging the best-decorated boats).
The parade participants shall proceed at minimum make-way (no wake) speed throughout the parade and are individually responsible for adherence to all COLREG navigation rules.
Parade entry is open to the public so please tell all of your friends! The Rockport Yacht Club Bar will be open to registrants until 8:00pm (subject to the maximum capacity in the clubhouse).
